I was watching Six Feet Under (episode 5x02) when suddenly there was SURPRISE CHRIS PINE! :D I gasped so loudly my dad and sister asked what was wrong, and they were in a different room! Heehee.



Look at that GQMF, goddamn! He's playing the high school version of a dead guy that the Fisher funeral home gets in, and he was friends with Nate Fisher in high school so Nate has conversations with him in his head. (I know - I love this show.) So he's all, like, 80s and a little douchey and a lot adorable omg. Captain Fine, hi how are ya! <3333

That totally made my evening.

Even with the goofy weird hair, he is so attractive. And no shit, when I saw that picture I was like "I REMEMBER THAT VEST." I might have to try to find that episode somewhere and rewatch it. It's been ages-- my mom and I followed the show when it was on, but I haven't watched since.

ETA! So I was reading ontd_startrek, as you do, and there was recently a post about this very episode. AND. THIS IS THE ONE WHERE THE GUY RUNS OVER HIMSELF! There are a few death scenes that REALLY stick out for me and this is one of them. Now I DEFINITELY have to rewatch it. WHEE.

Also, if you check ZQ's IMDb page, it would seem that he was also in an episode of SFU. He was billed as 'indie hipster kid' or something equally ridiculous/adorable.

I am so thrilled by the way "GQMF" has invaded my flist. OH STAR TREK REBOOT AND YOUR GOOFY FANDOM.

WAS THERE? By recently, do you mean TODAY? Because I have totally been keeping up with that shit even though I've let the rest of my flist reading go by the wayside, um. Oops! :) I can't believe i wouldn't remember that post, since I'm obviously in the middle of SFU right now!

And it IS the one where FATTY CHRIS FINE RUNS OVER HIMSELF WITH AN SUV. Brb loling hysterically.

He is ALWAYS attractive. Even in that crazy film, what was it, oh, SMOKIN ACES. Where he's tattooed and certifiably insane and violent and, in a word, awesome. And still attractive. Siiiigh.

I saw that about ZQ!! I rushed to check what episode it was, and apparently I already passed it by (early season 3) but I own that box set so I might go back and rewatch, lolol. It's probably one of the first episodes of Claire in art school, cause he was credited as "hip student". OH ZQ.

GQMF is the greatest accolade ever invented. I love it so much. I sometimes find it infiltrating my thoughts, like, away from the internet! *facepalm*

So how far is Kenyon from Ann Arbor? We should hang :D

On the note of GQMF and other memes, I just had the BEST IDEA. I think combining the Xzibit "Sup Dawg" meme with ontd_startrek's obsession with lens flares would be instant hilarity. "SUP DAWG, I HEARD YOU LIKE LENS FLARES, SO I PUT A LENS FLARE IN YOUR LENS FLARE SO YOU CAN SQUINT WHILE YOU SQUINT." It was funny in my head, anyway.

RUNS HIMSELF OVER. WITH THE SUV. IT IS NOT THAT HARD TO PUT IT IN PARK.

I have not yet seen Smokin Aces! And evidently he was in a movie with Alan Rickman and Eliza Dushku called Bottle Shock. And I really want to rewatch Just My Luck because I am a biiiig looooser.

Kenyon is about 4 hours from Ann Arbor by car, according to Google Maps. I'm spending the summer at Penn State's College of Medicine doing an internship (in a lab with an F&M grad who is now working on her Ph. D.) and I expect that fall will be crazy but I bet I could sneak up there for a weekend.

4 hours is nothing, psh! :) You don't need to rush or anything, and it's likely my schedule might be more flexible than yours (that might be wishful thinking...), so maybe I'll come down? Idk, we'll figure something out!

Nope, her name is Sarah C... I don't feel comfortable putting her full name in an unlocked journal entry. I think she's starting her fourth or fifth year, which might put her before your time.

Hahaha I expect that miiight be wishful thinking on your part. The other thing is that Kenyon is not a very happening place and if I don't have the time to come up to Ann Arbor on a given weekend, you will probably spend a lot of time bored at Kenyon. I hope that sentence structure makes sense.
