What an interesting day.

I LOST MY IPOD! D: I think it was in my purse when I went out last night, and... it wasn't when I got home. Stolen? Fallen out? Who knows, but gone. :((((( I had a 30 GB 5G, and it was PERFECT for me, functional and big enough with no bells and whistles. Now my options are a stupid iPod touch that's tiny AND expensive (I don't need that huge screen! JUST GIMME MY MUSIC) or an also tiny and still expensive Nano, or an ENORMOUS and correspondingly EXPENSIVE Classic. AUGH DNW!!!! I'm so angry at myself. Why didn't I just take it out of my purse before I went to the bar?! ARGH.

Because I was looking for my iPod, I was late leaving to pick up angel726 for the Cobra meet and greet, so I was speeding. AND I GOT A SPEEDING TICKET! Making me LATER, hahahaha! ///o\\\ The cop caught me doing 83 in a 70... oops? He took pity (also probably saw I've never gotten a ticket before) and only smacked me with doing 75 in a 70, but now I have to show up to court in DETROIT and FML.

So basically, today cost me roughly $300 in the long run. AWESOME. /o\ At least I just got paid? :D?

The Cobra show (which was really a Boys Like Girls show, wut) was FILLED with people in black and neon pink or neon cyan. I felt seriously weird in my distressed red tee. Meet and Greet was kind of awkward, and Gabe-less (too sick? Ryland said hungover, but I couldn't tell if he was yanking my chain!), but still very nice. Ryland is tall! And lovely! I told him I got a speeding ticket and he said he was just glad I made it there alive, lolol. It was such an awkward setup and I didn't have anything to say really so I didn't talk to Suarez or Nate much. I did tell VickyT her jacket was AWESOME, because it was a military style deal very reminiscent of Black Parade. Then we got our photo and hustled on our way. I yawned my way through Versa Emerge, The Rocket... something? what?, and The Maine, and then it was Cobras!! Who were awesome and exciting, but the lighting was so shitty. The theme: "Let's Not Light The Performers!" Uhhkay. Whatever, Cobras, awesome, fangs up!

Then we left, because hahaha Boys Like Girls? No.

And now I am exhausted and in bed and watching White Collar. I have plans to see The Men Who Stare At Goats with Dave tomorrow, YAY. Aaaand scene.

That sucks about the iPod. I know it's not exactly cheap, but I'm assuming this link is the model you had? So it looks like you may be able to get a new one for $200?

I don't know if that's any better than a new one with more space, but just so you know. I've been shopping for a new one myself, and I'm trying to decide what to get.

That sucks about your iPod! D: I'd try checking eBay to see if someone is selling a used version of the one you had. Also, I think Apple sells refurbished ones, so you may be able to save money that way, too.

And, ugh, speeding tickets! That was cool of the cop to go easy on you, since that means you avoid getting points on your license (since it's only 5 miles over -- or at least that's what I understand from the one ticket I've gotten). But unless you want to contest it, you shouldn't have to show up in court. You have to send in part of the citation you received with either a guilty or not guilty plea, and a check, but if you plead guilty, you don't usually have court. When I got my ticket, I was about an hour and a half from home, so I decided to just plead guilty so I wouldn't have to drive all the way out there just to find out I would still have to pay.

Glad Cobras were good after all that, though. What are they playing off of the new album?

It looks like there are some very reasonably priced refurbished ones there, from highly rated sellers - I'll definitely think about that option. Thanks for pointing it out. :)

That is better, because the new Classic, which is 160 GB aka WAY too much, is $249 :-/ Do not waaant.

I DID WATCH MERLIN OMGGG!!! Bradley JAMES have my CHILDREN. His widdle face! And I loved that he and Merlin had real conversations, even though they ended up breaking my heart at the end. They bonded over lost parents! My heart! Eeeee show <333

Wait, what do you mean? What kind of fail happened at the Used show, other than Christa and I getting a little lost? Or... the Academy show? I was a little late but that's it! Not AWFUL fail, only mild fail. :)

Obviously the laws are different in every state, so it appears (from my quick pre-concert reading of the speeding ticket) that 1) I could get 2 points on my license for this offense, and 2) I need to either show up in court or mail in a Guilty admission before they'll tell me how much the fine is, because it's not on the ticket. Idk, I'll have to read it more closely.

Let's see... they played Hot Mess and Good Girls obviously, and Pete Wentz Is The Only Reason, and I think that's it? But I'm terrible at recognizing songs so I could be wrong!
