In order to distract myself from the semi-sucking black hole that is my real life at the moment, I am going to talk about the only bright spot: the German national football team. *___* I LOVE THESE BOYS SO MUCH. However in the last couple days, they have also been a source of stress, because I am so worried about Germany vs Argentina tomorrow that I could puke. Literally, I feel nauseated. The shit talking and mind games have not helped either - Basti and Lahm, I love you deeply, but please stop running your mouths. :(

So in order to re-focus myself on something super positive and excellent, I am going to picspam my dearest darling bbs and all of the joyful adorable things that they have done at this World Cup! They REALLY REALLY like to hug each other, you guys. IT KIND OF MAKES MY LIFE.

...So, uh. I have not watched any football in my life (/o\ I just can't handle sports! I get too emotionally invested! I get so sad--it doesn't matter if my team wins or loses, if they lose I'm sad about that obviously, but if they win I end up feeling bad for the loser anyway and just empathizing TOO MUCH--it's a problem) but but! I've never been hugely into sports either - I've always loved watching the game of soccer, but never really had a team to CARE about - and so it's been kind of revelatory how overwhelmingly EMOTIONAL this whole thing is. Listening to Passion Pit's Little Secrets and scrolling through this post has basically cheered me up to no end. djfdasml;f THIS TEAM. HOW ARE THEY SO WONDERFUL? Ugh, Lahm's faces still make me ridiculously happy, it's like I can't see him grin like that without feeling this compulsion to mirror it with my own :DDDDD face.

I think I love this photo of Lahm the most because fjdkal LOOK AT HIS FACE! The release of so much emotion after controlling it for 90 minutes is just so amazing.
