I really need to make icon posts more often, so they don't end up having almost 60 icons! Oy. I always end up with a mixed bunch, so the ones from earlier on I don't like so much anymore and I'm still pleased with the recent ones. Meh. Anyways, here's the breakdown for this set. I'm more Simon/River as close family and less CSI. Though, sometimes I'm into the Simon/River as CSI. It really depends. All I know is your icons are the best.

My views of them are complicated. I see them as having a little bit more than a simple sibling relationship, but nothing extremely sexual. You know? It's very hard to explain o.O All I know is that I get squeeful when they're on screen together, or freaking out out of concern for each other ^_^

I think I feel the same way you do. I love their closeness and when they are on screen together. The fact that they love each other enough to die for one another or leave their whole lives behind, that's just special.

Of course, I really don't see it being sexual, at all. They have more then a simple sibling relationship, but it's not sexual in the lease. Yes, there were a couple of times when I thought: "Are Simon and River going to kiss?!", but I think if they would start making out or having sex, I'd get a bit uncomfortable.

I think the best way to say it is: Simon and River need one another. They actually can't and don't want to live without the other. I don't want to call them 'soul mates', because that term makes me puke. But, they bascially are. They need one another to function properly. Even if Simon marries Kaylee or River finds someone to marry; even after they have kids and grandkids, their most important relationship is with their sibling. In the end, it's always going to be Simon and River.

I totally agree. All the reasons we've both stated are the reasons that Simon and River are by far my favorite relationship on any television show I've ever seen.
