Friday Night Lights just keeps getting better and better! I don't want it to end! I just watched 1x18, and all I can say is - Tim Riggins + little boy = OVARIES GO SPLODEY *beams*

So the SPN DVDs come out on Sept 11th. Am I the only person facepalming about this? >.< I mean, the DVD release date is always much anticipated by me, but I don't want to be sitting here bouncing up and down going "Is it September 11th yet is it is it?" That's just... I don't know, tasteless or disrespectful or something. Meh.

I do believe that FNL 1x16 Black Eyes and Broken Hearts just went in my top five faves of the season. What a wonderful, powerful episode. I cried! I did!

So I've been waiting to start thinking about my next music vid until the Supernatural season was over, and now it is, so I have begun! I finally downloaded Final Cut Pro, and it's very similar to Premiere so my learning curve shouldn't be that steep. Aaaaand I think I've decided on the song "Saving Grace" by Tom Petty. It's a really awesome song with a great beat to vid to, and some beautiful lyrics that just SCREAM "Winchester" to me. I've been struggling with my POV choice and thanks to some brainstorming with shinetastic I think I decided to split up the vid between Sam and Dean's POV, taking a look at how they've seen each other at different points in this season. I forgot to mention that I saw "Waitress" in a theater in the city with my girls on Thursday! It was WONDERFUL. The movie had such a beautiful heart, such a powerful emotional center in the character played by Keri Russell. Her performance was fantastic. It's laugh out loud funny, but also a very human story of suffering and strength. Absolutely gorgeous, all around. And our darling Nathan is sweet as PIE *beams* With his bumbling charm and his big blue eyes and oh oh. I love him so MUCH. Robin and I probably pissed off the whole theater with our squeals of "NATHAN!" Heehee. Oops? I love, I love a lot. If you get a chance to see it, DO. I'm going again with my mom later this week :D

Is it strange that in a show full of handsome, strapping young lads, the guy I find most attractive is playing the father of a girl 4 years my junior? Maybe a little. BUT OMG I DONT CARE. His mussed hair in the morning, his puppydog eyes, his blinding smile when his players are cross dressing, and his all around squishableness - I am just completely head over heels. Need icon!

You know, I enjoyed this show from the very beginning, but I think it has finally swept me off my feet. I watched four episodes today and I'm considering watching my fifth.

I watched another ep of Friday Night Lights last night, the fourth one. It's so good! Matt Saracen continues to own my heart, a lot.

I'm feeling much better today. I'm still being all lazy in bed, but - OH FUCK I just realized I set my alarm an hour too late and I'm gonna not make it to work on time FUCK. *HEADDESK* HI ANNE YOU SUCK. And I ALSO just realized that I didn't do any work on my stat project last night, which is due Friday. ANNE. YOU FAIL. GOD. Aaaargh. I can write to my bosses at work and explain and just work an extra hour this afternoon, that's no problem, and I can get the stat project done today, but STILL. Being sick has obviously scrambled my brains :(
