• The Non-Football-Fan's Guide to the World Cup. A picspam of *some* of the most attractive guys playing in the World Cup. I personally think footie players are generally gorgeous, and this picspam demonstrates that quite nicely. :D DID I MENTION IT STARTS TOMORROW?!
  
• What Stormtroopers Do on their Day Off. Hee.

And not a link, but something that definitely delights me: I've decided to buy an iPhone 4!! :D I think, anyway. The new one is just SO gorgeous, I couldn't help but be seduced! /o\ I don't even have a smart phone yet - I've still got an old school flip phone, not even a qwerty keyboard. And I do love my phone, but I think it's time for me to get on board the smartphone revolution. I'm on Verizon, so I could be smarter and just get a Droid, but... I really really want an iPhone! /o\ I'm a total Machead, and always will be I think, so it only makes sense. DID I MENTION HOW GORGEOUS IT IS?! I have staaars in my eyyyyes, gah. Having to switch to AT&T sucks, yes, and it will be much more expensive every month, and probably push back my hope of buying a new car, BUT. iPhone! *hands* Also, I'll be able to video call Francisco, because he'll be getting an iPhone 4 as well, and ngl that will be amazing. (He's in Chicago visiting family right now and I miss him already.) A side effect of me making this decision has been that I WANT MY IPHONE *NOW*. I'm all antsy and keep looking at all the gorgeous pictures and stuff! WAAAANTS.

I am very excited about the World Cup, mostly because we have an office pool at work and I'm determined to win AT LEAST third place. I probably won't but whatevs. Also our boss allowed all of us to at least watch all the Germany games so LESS WORK TIME YAY! Also that gif is hilarious.

SO EXCITED!! *twirls* It sucks because ALL of the games are in the middle of the day here (the latest game is at 2:30 PM! Yuck!) so I'm going to be trying to watch at work all the time. /o\ Fortunately I don't think I'm alone in that, haha. I might go to my uncle's to watch some games he DVRs on his massssssive HD TV, but mostly I will be making do with internet streaming. Sigh! REGARDLESS I AM STOKED. And also excited for all the photos of footie boys jumping all over each other all the time that will inevitably appear. :DD

Are you SURE you missed me? You sound uncertain there. ;) I'm sure I missed you though! <3 I'm doing pretty well - getting back into the swing of things at work, and I have a lot of really exciting things coming up, so it's both overwhelming and thrilling. It's like I'm a real scientist or something! (????) I'm glad I got to go to Dublin, although it already feels like a dream that never really happened. And I'm still really pissed and upset that Francisco's moving away, so I'm afraid that's going to color my near future a lot.

Oh yeah they WOULD be in the middle of the day for you, I almost forgot that. Well, in four years it'll be easier for you because BRASIL. That is going to be totally weird for me then, heh. Did you know that South Africa is in the same time zone as Germany? Isn't that weird? I can't get over it. But yes most of the games are when I work too, but we have a bet going at work and I'm really trying to win but I suck at predicting outcomes especially since all the teams are screwing it up for me. I mean WHAT WAS THAT ENGLAND SRSLY?

But yes, yes I totes did miss you! Shutup. I can totally imagine how Dublin would feel like a dream, but it sounds like you made the best of it (winkwinknudgenudge). And of course you're a realy scientist now! I'm always all awed by the stuff you do. Btw you should totes write me an email if you need distraction from the Francisco thing. Me, I'm doing okay. My boss is a bitch, but I'm still rocking my internship despite that and will most likely go back to uni in the fall to do an MA. Yeah.
