But right now, I have a DECISION to make. FYE is having this ridiculous DVD sale (omg, all these places are TEMPTING me, like WHOA. Stupid holiday sales! :P) and they have seasons 1-3 of Gilmore Girls on sale for 23 bucks! \o/ JAAAAAYRED. I dont really want to get s1 because i've seen most of it, and I want to see some of Jess's storyline because I haven't really. I've also seen a lot of S2 but not as much, I don't think. Is S3 worth getting, or have Dean and Rory completely gone to shit by then? Basically I want lots of Jared, and not too much jealous!Dean. Advice, people!

In other news, I have LESS THAN TEN POSTS until I hit ONE THOUSAND. What should I do to celebrate??

Awwwwww! I went trawling on youtube for some clips of baby!Jared from Gilmore Girls (not much luck, I'm afraid, though I did find the Candy Man clip and NNGH POSTCOITAL VOICE and dude he's totally Sam by that time) and I stumbled on a beautiful music video by accident. It's Rory/Dean, first season, set to Tori Amos's A Sorta Fairytale, and it's just elegant, simple, and lovely. I highly recommend it.

Supernatural was a rerun, and I thought it wasn't. I was v. disappointed. It also happened to be the ep I had watched on my computer the night before, so boo.

So, even though I have a chem test tomorrow morning, I decided to watch Supernatural and Law and Order SVU!

Supernatural was the one with Amy Acker, very cool. It was the second episode that I've seen, and I really, really like this show already. I like the two guys a lot, but especially Sam - he's so sweet, and oh yeah, REALLY pretty. I always loved him in Gilmore Girls. The show is genuinely scary in a way that I never felt X-Files was - it really makes me actually scared. I was in tears at one point. But this is a good thing! Haha. Very powerful, very cool. I loff it.

And GILMORE GIRLS! (Not the NEW one, the old one that was on abc family at 5:00 - I haven't seen most of the season that just started today, Season 5). So this was the season premiere of season 5, and awwwww! Luke/Lorelai!!! SO SWEET. With the phone calls and the five messages and the don't change your mind and awwwwwwww. They're so cute!!!!!

As for Dean/Rory, oh dear. I've always liked Dean, but this is NOT KOSHER. I mean, Lindsay's really sweet, and she's trying so hard - she obviously doesn't know anything is over! Dean toyed with Rory, and Rory was stupid and fell for it, and ugh. Bigbig mess. Makes for interesting drama.

But Luke/Lorelai, awwwwwww.

I'm extremely tired, but I felt like making a post before I went to sleep. Yes, I procrastinate on sleep. I am weird.

Speaking of weird, it's disconcerting to meet large numbers of very awake people on your way to brush your teeth at FOUR IN THE MORNING. There are still people out and about. At all hours! It's crazy. I mean, I realize I'm awake too, but I've been huddled away being antisocial for the past four hours.

I'm not sure quite what point I'm trying to make with that. Just that it's odd that even at this hour, there are still people around.

I had a fun time with my girls today. We had a Gilmore Girls marathon, wherein we watched, oh, about 6 or 7 first season episodes in the time from 5 PM to midnight. It was great fun. There was chinese food and junk food. We felt like Gilmore girls ourselves! ^_^ We didn't think the episode selection through very well though, because the order in which we watched cause some confusion. For instance, we watched the episode where Rory hangs out with Dean for the first time at the movie night with her mom, and right after that we watched the episode where they're broken up. VERY confusing. But still, it was great fun :)

I'm pleased with the response to my icon post, although I have decided that I really need to make them more often. I think I'll make an entirely Firefly one later. I've gotten on iconing kicks before, but never one that lasted this long! Everyone in the show is so damn pretty, but especially Simon and River, and I just cant stop making little squares out of them.

Did I mention that I'm extremely tired?

1. My friend down the hall has a TV with a vcr built in that can record. We are going to try to record Gilmore Girls every week. YES!!! This is all the more amazing because I just watched the trailer for the GG season premiere, and... OMG. Omg. ( Mild spoilers for the end of last season (season 4 or 5, I forget) )

2. classes start tomorrow! Eek!

3. I know I had a three.

4. I'm severely antisocial, I think I just don't like people. Somehow I manage to be alone in a roomful of people. It's bad, but I don't mind it. Er. I guess I just need time?

5. I finally went grocery shopping, so I finally have food.

6. Traitor's Moon is still excellent, but almost over :(

checking in again... I basically haven't been keeping up with LJ, I'm sorry :( I've been soooooo busy. So busy. Only one more day of orientation though, and then it's down to the normal grind.

Actually the reason that I started this post is that I have a silly dilemma... I just realized that choir rehearsals are tuesdays from 7:15 to 8:45... i.e. DURING GILMORE GIRLS. *eep* I really really wanted to follow GG this season (Luke/Lorelai, what?!) but if I do this then I won't be able to and I will be SAD. So, I suppose I am asking two things: should I sacrifice my TV for an extracurricular? and do you know anywhere I can download GG episodes right after they air? Any help would be greatly appreciated ^_^ Luckily the rehearsals do not conflict with Lost, so I am good on that score. Speaking of, I have to get the DVDs... hmm.
