Ugh. My Monday/Wednesday/Friday mornings are like a freaking mental yo-yo. I start the day by waking up at 7 AM and my mind can be best described as "bleurgh." Then at 8 I've got organic chemistry, and for an hour my mind is on high alert - "What's he going to ask us next? Which reaction was that again? What's a good base but a bad nucleophile? Oh right, t-butoxide! Thank god I remembered that!" and so on and so forth. Then at 9 I've got intro Physics, and my mind sounds like this: "I could do this when I was 16. In my sleep. Mmmm, Sam and Dean. John and Rodney. Sam and Dean and John and Rodney. God I want a good crossover. Nngh that story Tiana wrote me is completely damaging my physics calm. Rodney would shoot my professor for being so stupid. Because John taught him how to use guns. Mmmm John and guns. Mmmm John." AND SO ON AND SO FORTH. *facepalm*

Stop laughing at me!

By the way, HAPPY BIRTHDAY DEAN! *beams* We love our Dean, we do we do. And Sam is giving him his special birthday treat right now :D Well, all day, but right now too! ♥

Speaking of the boys, tomorrow is Thursday!! :D I am resolutely not watching the directors' cuts, and I think this is going to greatly enhance my experience of the ep :) Yay for restraint!

Also, Mona rocks my socks. Just on general principle.

HEE. I just remembered the most cracktastic idea I had for a music vid last night. So I was listening to Christina Aguilera's "Ain't No Other Man" (It's a great song, and a great album too!) and wondering what the hell kind of guy could live up to all that praise? And my mind went: DEAN. Cause honestly. He's pretty much the perfect man, yeah? Disregarding the UTTERLY BROKEN thing? So maybe I'm biased, but bear with me.

I also have a question for you all. In Scarecrow, who do you think was more surprised that the other left? I've seen both interpretations and I'm curious about what you think. Some people say that Dean didn't expect Sam to actually go through with it and leave. Others say that Sam didn't expect Dean to really abandon him on the side of the road. I think they were both surprised by exactly how far this tiff went, but they were each too stubborn (and mad) to give in and admit they didn't want to be alone. I'd love to hear other thoughts - just tossing this out there :)

Yesterday I wore my new Threadless t-shirt, the one with the hands picking handcuffs with a PAPERCLIP. It was great fun.

Okay now I need to take a nap before chem lab. Oh joy.

I've only watched the first one, but JARED saying "Y'ALL" pretty much MELTS ME. And and new behind the scenes FOOTAGE and OMG is it September 5th yet???????

In other news, I gave my final presentation for my internship today. It went well, and my professor asked me back for next summer, if I want to come! Which is just such a marvelous compliment, because he wants me BACK, you know? He thinks I did good enough work to warrant that! What a lovely way to finish up, very satisfying.

More details later, when I feel less like I'm coming down from a high. Seriously, after the presentation, I CRASHED. Erin was rather worried about me as I reported my symptoms to her online (blurry vision; trembly legs; general feeling of UGH) but I'm feeling semi-better and I think all I need is a good night's sleep.

I fly home on Saturday, which, YAY. I miss my daddy tons n tons, and it'll be so nice to be home.

(I'm not sure how I feel about this new "browse" option for choosing your userpic. It's kinda cool, but I don't know how much I'll use it, since I have every single one of my 105 icons memorized quite well, thanks very much)
