one more miracle

Sean Maher just got cast in a film! As the main (male) character's boyfriend! AGAIN! This is a hilarious typecasting trend, my darling Sean, but I am really not complaining. Heeeee. I would prefer to see him as a lead in a show, but at least this is SOMETHING. My life is a little empty with no Maher in it. :( (Hilariously, the boyfriend is played by that guy who was the sheriff in Eureka. Ahahaha. I can't wait!) (LOL, I actually have a tag for Sean Maher. MY LOVE IS TRUE AND DEEP.)

When I was walking home today, I walked by a guy who reminded me, instantly and simultaneously, of Spencer Smith and Luke Skywalker. Ahahahaha, what. Brains are weeeeird. And the impression didn't go away when I looked at him again! His hair was very Luke, and his face was a weird mix of both, while he was built more like Spencer. Idk!

Today was a VERY tiring day. This is partly because I went to bed way too late, and then I forgot my coffee mug so I also didn't have a container to put water in all day, and I do think that not hydrating all the time really does a number on my energy. So I got home, watched the Merlin episode To Kill a King with my uncle (SOOO GOOOOD. I would bang Morgana like a screen door, just sayin), and now I am flopped in bed watching Bones. I just watched the episode with the hockey and the ice skating (4x13) and my eyes are like this: ♥_________♥ Sigh! Now I need to go finish reading a really important paper that just got published today which radically changes how we're going to approach my project. It basically answers the big and cumbersome question we were asking first, and allows us to get much more sharp and targeted with our question asking. How fun! \o/ But kind of scary too, because hi, I only have 5 weeks left! And no data yet! *flaps around* There were some complications with my experiment today, so I had to try something kind of weird overnight, and we'll see in the morning how it went! *hands*

So I'm trying to make a decision. I'm probably definitely going to that symphony concert that William Goldstein invited me to (the guy I met on the plane and all that) where his pieces are being played. It's Saturday night, and a 2.5 hour drive away. I don't particularly want to stay in a strange city where I don't know anyone overnight, so I'll probably be driving back that night, which means I won't get back til... probably midnight at the earliest. What I'm trying to decide is if I want to bring someone with me. It's kind of a long trip to go on with someone I don't know that well, you know? But there are a couple girls that I think would be interested and I think I'd have fun with... hmm. I think I will ask them, because it's more fun to road trip with someone! And that way if Bill doesn't have much time to talk to me, I won't feel all lonely and awkward. So that's decided! We'll see if anyone actually wants to go now, haha.

I'm sorry I haven't given you guys questions yet - see above re: very exhausted! I'm going to give that a stab soon though, I promise.

And then... WEDDING WARS! *laughs* In case you didn't know, this is a silly new A&E movie about a man who hires his gay brother as his wedding planner, but when the gay brother finds out the bride's father (the governor of Maine) is against gay marriage, he goes on strike. It's silly and over the top and stereotyped and so goofy, but... BUT! IT'S GOT SEAN MAHER AND JOHN STAMOS BEING THE CUTEST BOYFRIENDS EVER!!! They KISS and HUG and declare their LOVE and SLOW DANCE and catch the BOUQUET and *squirms* SO ADORABLE. I want to have Sean Maher's babies, for serious, because he is the most adorkable, sweet guy EVER. Ya'll know I LOVE Simon, so I wasn't expecting anything different, but !!!!! I love him SO SO much. It was totally worth it for the two of them being crazy adorable. I also love John Stamos from Full House, and I always thought he was crazy hot, and he SINGS in this movie! Eeeeee! What a fun movie *grins* And here's a picture to make you smile!



I also just rewatched the majority of Bloodlust and *flail* my love for that episode knows NO BOUNDS. I seriously think it's my favorite of the entire series thus far. Uhm, hence my 90+ item list of reasons why I love it \o/ (Oh, and! Since I'm watching on TiVo, the promo for CSPWDT just came up, and I forgot how they had the shot of them by the car and the voice over goes "True love..." HEE! *clappyhands*)

Five milligrams of endothelin-1 - $1300

I was going to make this a whole mastercard thing, but I can think of nothing priceless related to that. But just look at that number! If you're wondering what endothelin-1 is, it's the hormone I've been treating the blood vessels with at work. And 5 mg is not much at ALL. It's a TINY amount. And it's THIRTEEN HUNDRED DOLLARS!! (!!!) Absolutely INSANE. And apparently I've been using it at way too high of a rate, for reasons too complicated to fully explain - but it really wasn't my fault, that's what my professor told me to do! So I'm trying to cling to that instead of self-flagellating ruthlessly, as I am wont to do. Oy.

Today was a really crappy day. That was kind of the reason, but I was also feeling vaguely sicky, and my mood was negative and bitter ALL day. After dinner I just had to go out for a run to clear my head. I ran hard, harder than I had been, and it hurt but it also felt good. I'm not feeling so omgtheworldsuckseveryoneshouldDIE anymore, which is good.

Tigana continues to absolutely blow my mind. No one's died yet, though there have been two CLOSE calls, so I'm really nervous about who's gonna bite it. Because SOMEONE has to - Kay's books always leave me in tears, and besides, there's a war just starting. So. UH OH. *chews fingernails*

I watched Ariel with Meg tonight. Simon is so much love omg. I fall more for that man every time I see an episode of Firefly. Oh SIMON. Competence is so fucking sexy. "Your patient should be dead." And then the LOOK he gives that incompetent idiot, sdljfhasdkfjhsad. Makes me want to jump his bones. Um. Not that I don't want to ALL THE TIME. *ahem*

.....ASDFKJHADFKJHDKHASDKDJ!!!!! *POINTS AND FLAILS* OMGOMGOMG!!!! I just went to IMDB to see what Sean Maher's got on his plate (the answer is a big fat NOTHING, unfortunately) and THIS WAS HIS PICTURE!!! *STARES AND STARES AND STARES* Wow. Just. WOW. I hadn't SEEN that one before!! (How is that possible???)

I just caught the promo for tomorrow's Ghost Whisperer (which looks like such a dumb show, btw) and I saw SEAN MAHER and now I am incoherent with the glee. Seriously, this man needs to star in a movie soon because I LOVE HIM OMG. So fucking pretty.
